Simply Money Foundation

Getting involved. Giving back.

The Simply Money Foundation is a difference making 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that teams with charities and organizations. We believe when people come together as a team, and play to their strengths, great things can happen to better the lives of everyone in our community.

Investing In Our Community

Honor Flight Tri-State

The Simply Money Foundation supports our country's veterans through its involvement with Honor Flight Tri-State.  Our co-founder Ed Finke, a U.S. Army veteran, serves on its board of directors. Its mission is to provide "Honor Flights," free of charge, to veterans of World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam War, age 65 and older, so they can visit their memorials in Washington, D.C.  These emotional trips are capped off with a huge welcome home ceremony, a celebration many of these heroes never received after their service to our country was completed.  Ed personally escorts and honors these heroes on each of the five Honor Flight Tri-State trips annually.

Cancer Support Community

The mission of the Cancer Support Community is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthen by action, and sustained by the community.  The Simply Money Foundation is involved with the Cancer Support Community because of its work to support, educate and provide hope to cancer patients and their families.  Our co-founder Nathan Bachrach is personally involved and serves on the Cancer Support Community's Board of Directors.

People Working Cooperatively

Each fall the Simply Money Advisors team gets together to help our neighbors in the community.  We spend a day working for those who need help with yard work, raking leaves, getting flower beds ready for the following spring and cleaning out gutters.  Our team also spends a day visiting with seniors at Cedar Village, serving them breakfast, getting to know them and letting them know the community they gave so much to is here supporting them.  Much of the Simply Money Foundation effort is coordinated with the help of People Working Cooperatively, a group whose mission is to help homeowners remain living independently in a safe and sound environment and providing the example of what happens when good people work together.
